A Little About Us

Living Hope is an unapologetically Jesus loving community of believers spread across the wide city of Mobile, Alabama, one of the fastest growing cities in the Southern portion of the United States. Comprised of predominantly young adults, we are a young church with young people who are passionate about spreading the fame of our eternal God to our city and throughout the world.

Here's a quick rundown of our worship service:
• We begin at 10AM
• We last until around 11:30
• Our Kids' Hope rocks
• Dress however you‘d like: casual, fancy and anything in between

Let the Nations Be Glad

Jesus told his disciples, "As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you" (Jn 20.21). Since the disciples were trained to lead Christ's church, the sending not only applied to those specific men but continues today. Thus, we joyfully enter the missio Dei, the mission of God by doing all that we can both locally and globally to spread a passion for the name of Christ.

Missions, in its most simple form, is the beckoning people of all tongues, tribes, races and peoples to sing with us. We call for all people everywhere to join in chorus with us, singing of the triumph of Christ on the cross, the goodness of our Father God and all of his glories. A call to missions is a call to calling others to worship.

From the Old Testament to the New, God used his people to be a light to the nations, a beacon of hope to the world. As Peter says, we are called out of darkness into the glorious light of Christ in order to "proclaim (exaggello - to make known by praising) the excellencies of him who called us..." (1 Pet. 2.9). Our calling is to praise in such a way that calls to others to praise our King. Thus, we embark on missions in our city (Micromissions) and across the globe (Macromissions) to make the name of Jesus known, loved and sung.
